Its Jack's fault really. Jack is "The Guy" at Magdon Music and quite a good guitar builder in his own right. It was he that first suggested and then asked and then asked some more and finally insisted by sending us a premium piece of Indian rosewood. He was excited by the possibility of having us offer an all-rosewood neck option for Cobra--an idea he borrowed from his other favorite guitar company, Paul Reed Smith. He loves both PRS and Tom Anderson guitars and has them hanging side-by-side in his store. What could be better than that? The guys at PRS are good friends of ours and we are always delighted to hang around with them. The two guitars probably go so well together because they are so very different and yet both so very cool.

The Hollow Cobra you are looking at is the very first one of its kind and will be at Magdon Music after the show is over. Preliminary sonic tests seem to indicate an increased lower-mid thump with more fundamental resonance and less complex harmonic overtones. All this and so darn good looking too.
