The Classic
Metallic Amber

There are those who have walked among us that have offered the world a glimpse from their heightened gift of vision. In western culture, Socrates and Plato are among these visionaries. But there is another, so powerful and in possession of such clear foresight that modern-day philosophers are calling him, master—or at least they are calling him on the phone to see what Anderson Guitars he has in stock or coming soon. His ability to link ancient wisdom directly to the present day is utterly remarkable. The result is a lofty instrument of fluid playability and infinite sustain—an instrument with a familiar look that escapes time-bound shackles and unearths the best of both worlds.

It began when he specced out an Inca Silver, Classic with Aged White pickguard and a set of VA pickups with Coffee Dipped covers. It was such a smashing success that he could not help but continue the theme with a Shoreline Gold, Classic appointed in a similar manner. Everyone who saw it, and of course played it, was wowed.

Fueled by the fires of inspiration, he took it even further the next time with another Inca Silver—revved up with a set of calibrated M-Series pickups aboard an Aged White guard. It looked very similar to this one. The Ms sent him, and all who approached it, reeling.

Impassioned to do it again, but differently, he followed up with yet another Inca Classic—outfitted with a Black guard. Against the black background, the Ms hide in waiting, only to spring their hum-canceling, sonic surprise on unwary guitarist who have sought in vain for years to command grandiose single coil sounds. Their time has arrived. It was an outrageous move and we should have shot a picture of it before it left—fortunately, Mass Street Music did and this is the result.

Gushing with inspiration of genius, it became contagious. Even his customers were caught up in his flow and one expressed exquisitely good taste and understanding by ordering a Sage Green Metallic, T Classic—nearly identical to this one.

Could anything equal the majesty of these instruments and still project its own individuality? Well, the common man would say, “No.” But here it is! Can you imagine stepping on stage with this Metallic Amber, Classic strapped on? Its Alder body will bolster upper and lower midrange frequencies while the VA pickups listen carefully to resoundingly resonant string energy and impart 14 variations of vintage tone into your favorite amp. You had better want to be the envy of all you stand before.

What kind of mere mortal could possess this kind of vision? His name is Chris at Mass Street Music— here he is jamming on the first Hollow Atom, finished in Firemist Gold.

Those who know Chris absolutely love him. But do they really know this man? Well, we thought we did too until we became suspicious enough to enlist the assistance of an identity specialist. His findings were absolutely astonishing—but explain a lot about why one person seems to be so extraordinary. Our specialist pointed out that no one has ever seen Chris, from Mass Street Music, and Socrates together—ever—not once! He also produced documentation clearly showing how it is now a matter of Greek Historical Archival Record that Socrates absolutely loved Anderson Guitars—and would not deny their superiority even when faced with death. But the most telling evidence to date is how remarkably identical their features are when compared side by side. No one, not even their mothers, could tell the difference. Coincidence? We don’t think so!
