And just when you thought all knowledge had been revealed concerning Crowdster Plus…

By now you were feeling confident regarding your command of Crowdster Plus lore—after all, you read Guitar of the Week. You are on the cutting edge of everything Anderson. With valuable and important “C Plus” information filling your head, you are ready to for the Memorial Day party (or whatever party appropriately applies). After reverent reflection of the sacrifices that have been given for freedom, you are confident and prepared to interestingly expound...upon Crowdster Plus, of course. You have become a master, a virtual cornucopia of Anderson information.

It is already public domain that the regular Crowdster Acoustic is now esteemed as the Live-Music Acoustic Guitar without peers. It is able to command the stage with no compromise of its acoustic guitar tone. No sacrifices have to be made, just plug it in and play big and clear acoustic guitar that will lay into the mix as well as all the other instruments in the band.

So nice, and so needed!

Your elevated awareness also encompasses the interesting facts that Crowdster Plus’ intrinsic traits are the same as Crowdster Acoustic’s, but with tremendous added dimension.

Phone calls, letters and emails flowed in, asking for the wonderfulness of Crowdster Acoustic to be enriched with the addition of an electric guitar pickup. We responded, but in the Anderson way—with a guitar that again made no compromises to get acoustic guitar players into a new realm that they had only been able to dream about before.

For starters, the new CMA electric pickup is specifically designed and balanced to work with bronze acoustic guitar strings, so regular Crowdster Acoustic guitar tonality remains untouched, acoustic and sweet, while the newly-added electric guitar tones rip—whether clean or overdriven, it can handle it all.

There is also an inconspicuous flush-mounted mono/stereo push-button (so it is not accidentally bumped during the show) that allows a mono signal from both the acoustic and electric pickups to be blended and sent to one amp. Push the button and the stereo mode is activated. A stereo cable will now impart acoustic tones to the PA and electric guitar tones to your favorite electric guitar amp—this is the most impressive way to blow everyone’s mind within earshot.

But now, what is this?

A Spruce Top!?

Spruce’s gift to Crowdster Acoustic or Crowdster Plus is a softer, slightly sweeter and more percussive bloom imparted at the entrance to each note. With its slightly more pliable attack, Spruce offers special favors to strummers and more heavy-handed players.

So, are Maple-Topped Crowdsters still good?

Well of course they are, no worries there, it is just that if you want a gentler, more forgiving initial pick stroke that favors rhythm work or you just desire a softer aspect, Spruce could be your baby—especially if you love its vintage-acoustic visual appeal.

Sing with me: “All we are saying…is give Spruce a chance.”

Eddie and Dave gave Spruce a chance when they ordered this very-first Natural Spruce, Crowdster Plus for their store, Indoor Storm. What they got when it arrived sent them to the moon. It was instant love…love with its expected flawless playability and love with its gorgeous voice.

They even recorded sound clips for you listening pleasure.

So, party-on with confidence, knowing that your Anderson information is intact, up-to-date and still on the cutting edge.
