Translucent Butterscotch

Why is John Barker at Evan’s Music smiling so euphorically? What does he know? What has he got? He has something, that is for sure—something that no one else has—or has ever had for that matter?

In his possession right now is the very first, the one and only, Translucent Butterscotch, Classic ever done—the first! We have all seen a plethora of Hollow T Classics done up this way and accented with a Black pickguard. But to actually witness The Classic in Translucent Butterscotch with an Aged White Pickguard…now that is a whole new, and yet still very vintage, thing.

Its Swamp Ash body does sway the tint of this translucent shade, as the natural wood tones radiate from beneath, exercising their influence over the hue of the color. An Alder body would not be reluctant to ask Translucent Butterscotch to be a bit smoother and more subtle while this Swamp Ash radiates with variation and vibrancy.

And speaking of vibrancy, we ask you, “Has John’s got it, or what?
