Level 9 of the Anderson complex is headquarters to Cobra S. Only G6 clearance and an electrostatic badge scan gains you entrance to this shrouded area of the factory. Inside, it is clear why this department is considered by many musicians to be the area responsible for producing the most potent instruments you can ever strap on, plug in and play.

You have been granted G6 clearance. Please enter.

Team Cobra S. It is they that are responsible for the creation and manifestation of this exceptional electric guitar. Understanding the very essence of “S” is key to its chi and the reason for its overwhelming success. It also explains why those who play Cobra S can never be without it.

Visual appeal abounds as the svelte lines of its traditional double cut-away silhouette are enhanced with a slightly smaller and more “cut” body shape—crowned with a highly coveted maple top. Strap it on. The hang is familiar and comfortable as it holds you with the appeal that has made this body shape most desired among guitar players.

To light up a Cobra S is to understand its real nature as it roars to life with a muscular and commanding appeal not normally associated, but very desired, with this body shape. The secret begins with its very structure—a 24 ¾-inch scale length supported by Mahogany-based construction, all cooperating to concentrate midrange power and increase girth of tonality. Of course, fingers effortlessly fly over polished and perfectly dressed Stainless Steel frets atop a Rosewood Fingerboard, making everything you play just that much more accessible.

Although Cobra S is not a heavy guitar, Hollow Cobra S stands alongside in equal number to offer the very same appealing attributes and a slightly softened pick attack in a somewhat lighter-weight package.

Team Cobra S is well aware of what they have here—how extraordinary and how needed this guitar is to players everywhere. For if you have always loved this body style, enjoyed its inherent comfort, balance and playing position but have always wished for more monumental tone…this is it! Cobra S changes the rules of the game—in your favor.

Laid out with twin Anderson humbucks, Cobra S offers three explosive and wide range humbucking sounds, while three surprisingly healthy single coil selections await your command.

Outfit the “S” with an MMH pickup option and you have entered a whole new world of the Single/Single/Humbucker guitar. With Cobra’s attributes, two M-Series pickups and a humbucker lending a hand, its voice speaks larger than life. A thrilling new sensation of power and awe for the SSH player.

Opting for three M-Series pickups on board will give gargantuan single coil tone a new lift with the added focus from Cobra S formatting.

Jack at Magdon Music is cool. Why? He is tight with Team Cobra S...why else? Through confidential correspondences he communicated his desire for this distinguished Hollow Cobra S arrayed with a Flame Maple top and finished in a beautiful traditional Honey Burst for his store. Word on the street is that it is there now.

Raise your right hand. Congratulations on attaining G6 clearance. You may now correspond at will with Magdon Music and Team Cobra S research labs on Level 9.
