Pro Am
Swamp Ash
Trans Green to Forest to Black Burst

What kind of green madness has been unleashed on the Motor City? Clearly emanating from the magnificent Motor City Guitar in Waterford, Michigan, it is the madman, Andrew, and his new Anderson Pro Am who are responsible. Together they are shredding throughout the city. Whether meant to coincide, or not, with the debut of the cinematic release of the new Hulk movie, the colors and the musical mayhem set free are certainly more than coincidentally akin.

Andrew claims no such link but rather tells the tale of a magical musical manifestation that first appeared before him as a mental picture of a Transparent Green to Forest to Black Bursted, Pro Am. Moved by a vision that seemed more than real, he gave us a call and before long his magnificent revelation was given the green light and began a materialization process by his friends at Anderson Guitarworks.

The mirror-like finish alone created quite a stir, as no one had ever imagined anything so multi-dimensionally green. But it went much deeper than even this, for a foundation was needed on which to implant this enraged color. Swamp Ash was the pallet from which Andrew chose to create his new sonic marvel, with its strengths lying in a robust low end, gorgeously sparkling highs and mid frequencies that step graciously back from the limelight to let the medium-hot H1 and H2+ humbuckers breathe. Holding the outer fringes of the band-width together required the services of an all maple neck, while the fixed-bridge plays a role in the focusing of the lower register.

Acoustic guitar sounds are able to be added to any electric sound desired, or performed single-handedly, via a visually undetectable piezo system sequestered deep within the confines of each saddle.

Now we are not saying that this brand new color montage was a product of any sort of gamma radiation accident in our paint laboratory but what we would suggest is that you don’t make Andrew angry when he is holding his brand new green Pro Am…even though you’d still like him when he’s angry—he’s too nice to be effected by gamma rays.
