Hollow Cobra S
Maple Top on Mahogany
Burnished Orange with Binding

It was a day just like any other. And test-playing these peerless instruments is an important part of the perfection process.

I popped the chrome latches and lifted the case lid. But I am only human! I could not help but gasp as I beheld the grandeur of nature itself demonstrated within the Maple top of this Hollow Cobra S. The Burnished Orange finish furthers the expression by enhancing the wood’s intrinsic flamy figure. Lifting it from the case revealed something rare indeed—the dark rich luster of a solid-Rosewood neck.

Understanding the temporal intoxication of beauty only too well, I shook it off and raised the Hollow Cobra S to playing position. Three immaculately in-tune chords was all it took to be sucked right back into the vortex of this Hollow Cobra S by the powerfully inspiring resonance of its Maple topped/Mahogany backed body—with increased overtones compliments of hollow-chambering. An additional low-mid rumble is introduced via the seamlessly playing all-Rosewood neck. It was at this moment that I realized, if there were ever a need to take over the world (musically speaking of course) this is the ultimate guitar for the job (gig)!

Like someone who had discovered buried treasure, I returned the guitar to its case and checked the label. Eddie and Dave at Indoor Storm was the lucky Anderson dealer this time. I wondered if Eddie would understand if I gave him a quick call to explain that his store’s guitar had mysteriously vanished after aliens had…No, he wouldn’t believe that for a minute. I glanced over my right shoulder and then over my left. Maybe I should take it home for several years of auditory research. Now that’s valuable. No, we’ve already done all that, hence the reason Anderson guitars play and sound so superb. Okay then, I’ll just hide under my desk and play it everyday for a month and then…

Just as I was teetering on the brink of complete absurdity, I heard a voice. It spoke to me…or perhaps it was more of a feeling but it was all clear now. We had created this magnificent guitar for someone very special—someone who has always wanted and needed an utterly awesome axe. With joyous regret, I handed the guitar over to Rachel. She would send it to Indoor Storm. Now it is up to Eddie—for it is he who will find “The Chosen One!”
