Now we’ve done it!
Brian is in such a pickle—not our fault really. It was the guitar in last week’s Guitar of the Week that did it. The Atom Special finished in Seafoam Green with Binding—it’s the real troublemaker. We clearly stated that this amazing axe was already in the hands of Chris—now an Anderson Guitar Player extraordinaire!
But still, Brian keeps getting call after call from those seriously craving this Atom Special with the 60’s theme. We can definitely understand, not only does it look unbelievably cool but of course it plays with Anderson’s highly-desirable legendary liquidly and robust full-spectrum tonality—like shooting off a musical cannon of gargantuan single coil sounds at every gig.
Wow, so you can see why the calls continue. I almost called myself but we have to keep in mind—it is gone—gone from Washington Music—only two hours after it arrived—gone.
What is the solution here? Is it fair to uplift one and deprive so many others? Of course it is not. So, how do you satisfy the cravings for the best playing and sounding guitars in the world? Well, you and I both know there is really only one way—and that is to own one of your very own. (Own one of your own? I like the way that rolls off the tongue.) We can make you a Seafoam of your own. Just say the word.
But there are those who cannot wait—understandable—and want something cool and unique right now.
Warning: Do not proceed beyond this point unless you have Anderson G6 clearance! How can you tell if you have G6 clearance? Hold your face close to the screen. If it does not go black you may proceed.
…FACE SCAN COMPLETE…
You’re in! Lower the Cone of Silence!
Top Secret: Another Atom has appeared at Washington Music and—at this very moment, anyway—is in the store! Every bit as cool as the last, it makes its statement with a Sparkle Gold Top crowning rich Transparent Brown back and sides over lush Mahogany grain—again very reminiscent of the best the 60’s had to offer—with even a touch more elegance. (I’m getting chills again. You should see this one in person. It will blow your mind.)
Visually undetectably hollow chambers add a touch of open tonality while insuring lightweight maneuverability and comfortable hour-after-hour playability to the already lightweight Atom format—very pleasantly surprising for a 24 ¾-inch scale, all-Mahogany format instrument.
Dual M-Series pickups—M1 and M3 from neck to bridge—tender three musically-muscular single coil manifestations that will bestow dominion over any situation you find yourself. It is such a rewarding playing experience.
Three more unsuspected sonic gifts await those who engage Kickback. Not a splitting function, Kickback is actuated via the 5-way and Push/Pull switch, located on the tone control, for twin pickup instruments. (For a three pickup platform, Kickback is engaged by a separate mini-toggle located between the volume and tone controls.)
Kickback does what its name implies: it kicks back the midrange of the M-Series units, presenting their tone with vintage scoop and output. Three huge and three vintage-level offerings—all hum-canceling, consider this the gift of the Ms.
So, at this very moment could you have it as good as Chris does?
Definitely, yes and in your own, first-of-its-kind, unique way!
