The Classic
Swamp Ash
Olympic White

As we wander in the darkness we may feel we stand alone…but there is always a light. Perhaps faint and distant at first, it has come just for you. Wait with patience and affirmative expectation as it draws near. Do not run away. It will light the way. Now we follow, for it beckons us out and upward. Darkness must always give way to light for it cannot stand in the face of the love that is always around us. Notice now and become aware of its presence. Dawn is coming. We do not know the form but it is coming with certainty.

Bathed in an off-white glow, it is the reflection of Olympic White that shines upon us this week. In Anderson-land this color is know as Olympic White—with assorted vintage flecks.

Why? Because we are practical perfectionists and we know that any solid white finish may show minuscule flecks, as nothing in the world of material things can be completely fleck free.

Most who have ordered this highly coveted vintage color have been at a loss to find those flecks—becomes sort of a fun game of searching out the flecks to some—but look closely, deeply and long enough into any guitar builder’s opaque white finish and you will eventually find some. Hence the entertaining name, Olympic White—with assorted vintage flecks.

Of course then the question immediately arises, “For other than fun, why would someone do that?” Does not this magnificent Olympic White masterpiece, with Mint White Pickguard and Coffee Dipped Pickup Covers, call us to revel in its strong vintage vibe while expressing the songs of our hearts and lives, and to plunge musically deeper that ever before?

If so, then you definitely have the right axe in your hands, for without question it will play with impeccable smoothness and fluidity—as do all Andersons—and it will speak with an extended and complex musical bandwidth that is literally unparallel anywhere in the world of electric guitars. Add to the mix the new Anderson VA5 pickups (more on this later) and a VA-Booster and you stand firmly on the sacred ground that the old single-coil-masters have walked. But now you are also ready to forge ahead with greater ease into established and new vintage-based territories.

Embrace the light of Olympic White—with assorted vintage flecks.
